Undergraduate Education Abroad Grant

In keeping with the intentions of the UNM Board of Regents, this program is designed to increase the number of UNM students able to participate in credit-granting international programs, and to heighten international awareness and expertise among students and the public. Grantees will be encouraged to share their knowledge and experiences upon return within the university community, as well as with communities and organizations in New Mexico and beyond. In this effort, GEO seeks to identify and assist meritorious students who might otherwise not be able to afford study abroad, to assist non-traditional students and underrepresented groups, and to promote study abroad in non-traditional languages and cultural areas. Amounts awarded vary each semester.
