Passport to Success: Study Abroad Scholarship for Graduate Students



You are eligible to apply if you are:

• A UNM graduate student;

• In good academic standing at UNM;

• Approved to participate in a UNM study abroad program, such as international exchange, short-term or faculty-led international course, intensive language study, independent study, international internship, service-learning program, etc; (This means you must have some kind of application open in the GEO Study Abroad system);

• Able to demonstrate financial need.

Grants may not be deferred; if you are awarded a grant but decide to postpone your study abroad, you will need to return funds and apply again.

Application Deadlines

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. It is recommended that you apply at least one semester in advance but at minimum, two months before departure to ensure there is sufficient time for review and processing.
