Important Dates and Deadlines

As you prepare to study abroad, there are several dates and deadlines to keep in mind. Please review the information, below, and check back for updates throughout the semester.

Semester abroad applications are reviewed on a rolling basis between GEO’s PRIORITY and FINAL deadlines. Students who submit their applications by the PRIORITY deadline have the best chance of being accepted for their first choice program.
 
Fall or Academic Year: PRIORITY deadline – Nov. 15, FINAL deadline – Feb. 15
 
Spring or Calendar Year: PRIORITY deadline – June 15, FINAL deadline – Sept. 15
 
Summer Deadline: March 1
 
Faculty-Led Programs have their own individual deadlines. Please review the specific program page for more information.
 
Each semester, GEO offers a MANDATORY Pre-Departure Orientation and several additional, optional workshops.
